Fully Persuaded?

Romans 4:21 says of Abraham that he was “fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” I really like the verbiage there. I don’t think Abraham knew how God would come through on His promise, but Abraham knew He would come through somehow.

Think about that…to be fully persuaded means you have absolutely no doubt as to anything contrary. I’m not fully persuaded about anything that I have control over. (Even some of the things I am very confident about rarely happen as planned.)

…but God is different!

You can be fully persuaded when you put your plans in God’s hands! He will guide your direction and give you wisdom in each decision.
