Jehoshaphat (part one of three)

Second Chronicles 17-20 records the story of Jehoshaphat. There are a few amazing examples of how God blesses those who remain faithful to Him. We see a man whose first act as the king was to destroy the false gods (Asherah poles and Baals) as to declare that his nation would be one that follows God’s laws. By the third year of his reign, Jehoshaphat had Levites and priests go through the towns of Judah teaching the laws of the Bible.

Becoming Ever Mindful begins with establishing what it is you believe and why you’ve established those beliefs.

I want to encourage you to take a few minutes to stop and think about this. As soon as you get a chance, take a few deep breaths to quiet your distractions and think about what God has in store for you today. I strongly urge you to ask what He wants to do THROUGH you before asking what He can do FOR you.

Part two will come shortly.
